This week’s grocery list was a little shorter than usual because we knew we’d be out of town for the weekend, and we also had some things left in our fridge to eat! Matt and I are currently staying with my family in LA celebrating our engagement!

Sunday
Breakfast
kouign amann and “the rebel within” pastries from craftsman & wolves bakery
Lunch
Poke Soba
bring pot of water to a boil
thinly slice japanese cucumber and carrots, add salt, and set aside
mix honey, olive oil, sesame oil, soy sauce, and rice vinegar in small bowl
boil soba noodles and rinse with cold water
squeeze water out of cucumbers and carrots, then combine with soba noodles and sauce
top with poke and pickled ginger
shrimp cocktail on the side
Dinner
chicken and veggies
preheat oven to 400
chop bell peppers and bok choy
mix paprika, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, and salt
season chicken breast with the mix and sear on the stovetop for 5 mins
transfer chicken to baking tray and bake in oven for 20-25 mins
saute veggies in the same pan with the rest of the seasoning

scrambled eggs with mushrooms
sautee clamshell mushrooms in olive oil until soft, remove from pan
make scrambled eggs
right before eggs are done, toss back in the mushrooms along with creme fraiche and chives
eat with plum
Lunch
arugula salad with shaved parmesan, olive oil, and vinegar
eat with apple and leftover shrimp cocktail
Dinner
sheet pan salmon and broccoli
dijon baked salmon
season one fillet of salmon with just salt and butter (for leftovers!)
season broccoli with olive oil, salt, and pepper
roast together on sheet pan at 375 for 20-25 minutes
eat with rice and furikake

mix leftover salmon, rice, soy sauce, sriracha, kewpie mayo
eat with roasted seaweed and kimchi

preheat oven to 400
cut delicata squash, season with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper, place in oven
cut peppers and onions, season with salt and pepper, and top with sausages
roast in oven with the squash for 20 more minutes
serve with micheladas
