Recipes

French Toast

whip together mascarpone, lemon curd (recipe below), and a bit of heavy cream. set aside
mix 4 eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and cream. dip slightly stale brioche slices into mixture, coating both sides
heat a large pan to medium-high heat with butter. fry brioche for 3-4 mins per side
top with whipped mixture, strawberries, powdered sugar and maple syrup

Crispy salmon and turnips

remove greens from turnips and finely chop, sprinkle generously with salt and mix, weigh down and set aside
roast japanese sweet potatoes at 425 for 1 hr. halfway through add seasoned and halved turnips to pan to roast for the remaining 30 minutes
pan fry salmon on medium-high heat with avocado oil skin side down, flip after ~6 mins
squeeze water out of turnip greens and serve with roasted turnip heads and salmon
for a miso sauce, mix miso, tahini, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and maple syrup

Lemon Cheesecake Overnight Oats

mix 1/2 cup rolled oats, 1/2 cup oat milk, a dollop of yogurt, a spoonful of cream cheese, and a spoonful of chia seeds
spread a layer of lemon curd (recipe below) on top. refrigerate overnight

Steamed Artichokes

trim artichokes and place in 1-2 inches of boiling water with lemon. cover pot and boil for 30 mins or until stems can be pierced with a knife
cut in half to remove choke
mix kewpie mayo and lemon juice for a quick sauce
